Officers of the Rhode Island State Police Hope Valley barracks announced the arrest of a Johnston man on a charge of misdemeanor marijuana possession , first offense, on May 2. Nicholas Tallo, 19, of 5 Shari Drive, was pulled over by a state trooper at about 12:15 am on Providence Street in West Warwick, according to a State Police press release.
